Beth Miranda Botshon

Beth Miranda Botshon is a director, producer and writer. Passionate about bringing compelling untold stories into the fold, she has spent the past 10 years producing original programs that uplift, challenge and entertain. With her Mu Media compaƱeros, she helped to field produce, pitch and sell the TV version of the Low Rider documentary, Firmes to Nat Geo Mundo. She recently completed production of the docu-comedy series, Take Me To Your Mother, for Nickelodeon as well as Mariachi High, a feature documentary for PBS and Latino Public Broadcasting about teens who play Mariachi in Texas High Schools. In 2009, Beth produced Odd Ones Out, a documentary for Granada International that follows the lives of four transgender teens over four years. Currently, Beth is spending a lot of time with top-tier comedians from The PIT and UCB, writing and producing a comedy web-series about two thirty-something friends. She's also in development of a feature documentary about cross-dressing Latino immigrants who lead double lives in the shadows of New York City.
